Storywriting in Room 9 - Jellybeans

Autumns colourful leaves

Today we went to look at the autumn leaves on the trees. We noticed that there were lots of different colours. We saw red, yellow, green, and brown leaves. We walked over to the fallen leaves and they went crunch crunch under our feet. They were all different colours, sizes and shapes. We came back to class and wrote about the autumn leaves.

Here are some of Room 9's stories from our Autumn leaves writing...

Today we were picking up leaves. There were lots of different colours like orange, yellow, red, green and brown. I got a red one.

We went and picked some leaves off the ground. I loved the red ones. The brown leaves make a crunch sound when you flicked them. There were brown, red, green and yellow leaves. The grass was wet but it didn't matter.

Footnote Dance comes to Frimley School

Frimley School was very lucky to have members of the Footnote Dance Group visit last week. Each class had 2 sessions working closely with a Footnoter experimenting with movement, spinning, dancing, jumping, strength moves and co-ordination. Room 9 had a blast (grins stretching from ear to ear).
You did a great job Room 9. I was so impressed by your eagerness to join in and have a go. Way to go!!

I scream, you scream, we all scream for...

ICECREAM!!!

Yum Yum!!! Today Tobey and his mum brought in their icecream machine! We got to choose our icecream flavours. We chose to have mint choc chip and red goody goody gum drops. It was so delicious!!! Room 9 would love to thank Tobey and his mum for sharing their icecream machine with us all! We had so much fun!
